David: From fear of a deadly poison to researching a medicinal mushroom - this is the incredible journey I have experienced with the fly agaric. As someone who has always had an interest in nature and edible mushrooms, I was initially put off by the warnings about the deadly nature of the fly agaric.
However, my curiosity drove me to find out more about this mysterious mushroom. I began to read up on its medicinal benefits and discovered a world of potential.
When I started incorporating fly agarics into my diet, I immediately noticed positive changes. A soap bar I received as a gift helped relieve my back pain and I started making my own tinctures and concentrates.
Taking toadstools regularly not only reduced my pain, but also eased my insomnia and gave me a boost of energy stronger than coffee, but without the subsequent energy slump.
Although I have never taken large doses and have not ventured into the world of high-dose fly agaric exploration, I have still reaped significant benefits from the medicinal use of this mushroom.
